About the Markaz

Markaz-i-Umoor-i-Islami is a registered organisation that has served the community of Faisalabad for more than thirty years. Its work runs from children's Quran classes in neighbourhood front rooms through to an orphanage boarding school, a seminary, two dispensaries, a community centre, and the graveyard where the community's dead are laid to rest.

Khwajagan Youth Forum is the Markaz's youth wing, formed to bring young people into that work and to run programmes built for their generation.

• Dispensaries in Allama Iqbal Town and Nazimabad
• Al Abbas Community Centre — three halls, capacity 1,000
• Qabaristan Bahishtay Zahra (s.a.) and the full funeral service
